Army badges generally fall into two categories: Special Skill and Identification. Some common Special Skills badges are the Air Assault Badge, Combat Action Badge, Combat Infantry Badge, and the Parachutist Badge. Indentification badges include the Drill Sergeant Badge and the Army Recruiter's Badge.
Army Special Skill Badges are worn on the left side of the uniform and Indentification badges are worn on the right side. AR 670-1Wear and Appearance of Army Uniforms and Insignia is the Army Regulation that governs the wear of badges.
Mr Militaria carries Black Metal Subdued Badges, Sta-Brite® Badges, and Cloth Sew-on Badges. Cloth bades are available with olive drab or desert tan backgrounds.
